Introducing the Next Four Cats of Clowder Creative
Turns out, when you spend enough time drawing cats, a few start to look suspiciously like parts of your own personality.
As the world of Clowder Creative grew, I began to realize there were more stories to tell than just those based on my own cats. Parts of myself that sneak into my sketchbook—the silly, the skeptical, the quiet, and the curious.
That’s where the next four cats came in.
SWEET PEA
Favorite quote: “Staying delulu is the solulu.”
An orange tabby who can find joy in just about anything, Sweet Pea is the eternal optimist. She’s the one giggling to herself over a private joke, surrounded by a pile of plush toys she insists are “collectibles.” She reminds me of the part of myself that laughs first and worries later.
SALTY
Favorite quote: “I’m not the one or the two.”
If Sweet Pea is the sunshine, Salty is the storm cloud that keeps her grounded. A black cat with a sharp wit and a sharper side-eye, she’s been through enough to assume the worst. Salty’s cynicism hides a heart that just wants to be understood. She’s the voice of skepticism that lives in all of us.
DJ M
Favorite quote: “Life it ain’t real funky, unless it’s got that pop.”
A brown tabby who never takes off his headphones, DJ M keeps the world spinning to its own beat. Calm, observant, and deeply intuitive, he’s happiest when lost in rhythm. He’s a quiet kind of creative energy—the focus, the flow, the moments when art happens without overthinking it.
EVA
Favorite quote: “Enjoy your stay.”
The wanderer of the group, Eva is a sleek black cat with bright eyes and endless curiosity. She’s the traveler, the explorer, the one who finds inspiration in every new place and creature she meets. She balances Sweet Pea’s lighthearted wonder and Salty’s caution with curiosity that feels both brave and kind.
